Info-BO : Front Office for social integration..

INFO-BO was born on the proposal of the council of the Bologna Historical Institutions with the purpose of facilitating the social integration of foreign immigrants in Bologna by providing them with the necessary information. The Center has an agreement with the Prefecture and the Municipality of Bologna and is well linked with all the associations and public and private utilities that work in favour of foreign immigrants. The Center is also a detached office of the Prefecture of Bologna, and is deputed to collect the application forms for family reunification and provides the info concerning the search for a job, for an accomodation, as well as the access to health care, school and training courses etc..
Info-bo is managed by the Opera dell’Immacolata-ONLUS. .
This utility has been activated thanks to the financial support of the CARISBO FOUNDATION and the DEL MONTE FOUNDATION OF BOLOGNA AND RAVENNA,
which paid for the restoration of the rooms owned by the OPIMM, as well as for the start up jobs and the support of the current projects of the center.

JOB SEARCH FRONT OFFICE.

The job search front office of INFO-BO is managed by the voluntary workers of the association "Friends of the Opera dell'Immacolata". The volunteers provide the immigrants with the necessary support to search and keep a job. After talking with the immigrants, the volunteers draw up their "curriculum vitae" and help them to define their professional skills; moreover they provide info about any job vacancy in the province of Bologna through constant and regular research and cataloging of the ads newspaper and internet.

INFO-BO provides info about the procedure to obtain family reunification, and about the access to services such as:
- fill-in of buraucratic papers;
- registration for the access to the National Health Care utility;
- enrolment of children to school;
- courses of Italian language;
- courses of professional training;
- application form for Italian citizenship;
- etc..

ANTI-DISCRIMINATION FRONT OFFICE.

INFO-BO joins the territorial net against discrimination of Emilia-Romagna. The anti-discrimination office is dedicated to the protection of the immingrant citizen rights and collects the citizen reports about the situations of disadavantage that foreign immigrants are likely to encounter.

FAMILY REUNIFICATION FRONT OFFICE.

INFO-BO is a detached office of the One stop shop of the Prefecture of Bologna. The office collects all the forms for family reunification permit and receives on request, on the following days:

• TUESDAY from 08.45 to 13.
• THURSDAY from 08:45 to 13.

NEWS ABOUT FAMILY REUNIFICATION.

PLEASE CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING UPDATES:.
• IF YOU HAVE STARTED WORKING SINCE LESS THAN A YEAR YOU CAN PRESENT A DECLARATION OF PRESUMED INCOME DRAFTED BY YOUR EMPLOYER, BUT YOU NEED TO ATTACH AT LEAST 6 PAY-SLIPS.
• FOR FAMILY REUNIFICATIONS CONCERNING MINORS, THE CHILD NEEDS TO BE LODGED WITH AT LEAST ONE OF THE PARENTS.
• SHOULD THE APPLICANT BE UNABLE TO PERSONALLY WITHDRAW THE FAMILY REUNIFICATION PERMIT, A DELEGATE PERSON MAY GO IN HER/HIS PLACE. HOWEVER, TO BE VALID, THE DELEGATING DOCUMENT NEEDS TO BE FIRST CERTIFIED AT THE TOWN HALL.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE FAMILY REUNIFICATION.

Starting from April 10th 2008 all the application forms for the family reunification permit are to be sent by the Internet. This link shows the on-line sending procedure of the said forms.
Attention: should you have any problem in filling the form, you may apply to various aid societies: download the complete list of all the aid societies of the city.
N.B.: Foreign people residing in Italy and married with Italians do not have to submit the form to the “One Stop Shops”for family reunification in order to reunite to relatives-dependants. Indeed, the Italian spouse should apply for special visa to the Italian Consulate located in the Country of his/her foreign spouse. (d.p.r. n°54 of 01/18/02 art. 3, par. 3) .

APPLICATION FORM FOR FAMILY REUNIFICATION.

Download the forms for family reunification:
MOD. S3 written statement of the employer.
MOD. S2 written statement of the holder of house lease or purchase contract if the applier or the reunited relatives are guests.
MOD. S1 written statement of the holder of the house lease or purchase contract if the reunited relative is younger than 14 years and has been allowed to stay according to the law stating accomodation requirements (i.e. the accomodation is eligible to host 1 more person).

NEWS ABOUT LONG-TERM RESIDENCE PERMIT.

Starting from Thursday 9 Decembers 2010 according to the D.M. of the 4 june 2010, the foreign who request "permesso di soggiorno CE per soggiornanti di lungo periodo" will have to certify to know italian language. For greater information he download our guide.
